Joseph Noble Technology Leathers - Maya 3D Rotating Texture Cards
I just finished up another cool 3D project for Joseph Noble Textiles. I used Maya 3D to completely model, light, texture, animate, and render the rotating texture cards that highlight the latest technology leathers available at JosephNoble.com. Mental Ray was used to achieve the most realistic looking textures mapped onto the 3D geometry. In the video render version, it looks like you could reach and feel the textures right on the screen. No post production was needed in Photoshop. I ended up using straight renders directly from Maya’s command line Mental Ray batch rendering using a quad-core/quad-video network rendering setup of 8 CPUs.
