This ain’t no joke folks… or so I thought…

Alert from eTrade.com - I just made #336,633.00 in one day…

Wait…. evidently it IS A JOKE!

After I picked my heart up off the floor and along with the rest of my body… I figured, this could simply not be possible. Had I really just earned $336,633.00 dollars in ONE FRIGGIN’ DAY???

I wait anxiously on the phone and I drill through the 15 security questions and answers with the eTrade support dude. Even he was amazed at my new found fortune… oh… wait.

“There appears to be a mistake in your portfolio of holdings Mr. Haws…”, he says calmly and with a professional demeanor and tone. “What?”, I ask. “Umm. We just did an audit on your brokerage account Mr. Haws and this appears to be a mistake with our front-end portfolio viewing system.”

Hmmm, I then said… “So, that’s a good explanation as to WHY I COULD NOT SELL THE STOCK?” “Yes sir.”, says the financial support dude.

I said, “Further, it says when I look up my ticker NXHLE… that’s is not a valid ticker, what the heck is going on here?” “Well Mr. Haws, we’re not really sure, but we do know this an error and we’re very sorry to have to inform you that you did not earn $336,633.00 today on this portfolio item.”, again in a nice non-confrontational tone.

He informed me then they would adjust my portfolio back to the $33.00 that the was the original basis value of the 333,333 shares that I bought a couple weeks earlier.

So, no. I evidently did NOT make any money today… in fact, I lost about $300 overall from the rest of my portfolio - blurred out due to my up-most shame and humiliation for dealing in junk stocks.

@#$@%!

Apparently they have a bug in their system where the last SELL listing by some jerk off broker trying something illegal by over-inflating his selling shares by 1 million percent… caused the bug in the portfolio viewing system where the last trade was calculated as this ridiculous inflated sell offer instead of the true last trade which essentially was the same as what I paid.

:( And I was SO ready to party this night too.
