Joseph Noble - “New Paris” Commercial Launched
Mobil1Racing.com Launched - Put NASCAR In Your Car Game
I just finished a new online Flash customize car game application for Mobil1Racing.com. I did all the customized Maya 3D modeling and rendering, visual post-production, Flash development and programming as well as developing a custom workflow and pipeline from Maya to the Flash game on the internet.
Check it out, I’m plenty proud of this one and it turned out very dynamic and fun to play. You never knew a Dodge Caliber could look so much like a NASCAR in under a minute with my new Flash web application.
Great news, TWO more cars are planned for the customization module so I’m getting geared up for some more serious Maya modeling and rendering passes!

UPDATE: The Xtreme 917V Accelerator Laptop Has Been Delivered!!!
Oh my goodness. It arrived not too long ago. I was out of town for the last half of December 2007, so shipment was delayed another 3 weeks. You will need about 15 minutes for this story of actual events… scary.

I was so excited when it arrived. The box weighed quite a bit with all the accessories and what not. So, I cranked out the old Sony HD 1080i Camera from the studio goodies closet and filmed the entire 15 minute ordeal of meticulously unpacking everything in a deliberate, slow and camera angle friendly way.
Everything came through perfect, without a hitch. No apparent damage from being shipped UPS Ground (yikes). So, I figured, since I had documented the entire unwrapping process that the need for shipping back was almost over… so I thought.
Now comes the scary, terrible, sinking of my gut feeling, when I hooked it all up and turned it on for the very first time.
Waiting… waiting… Doh! Saw a quick splash screen I had never seen before… think it was the F2 setup thingy… waiting… waiting… NOTHING.
Here’s the glorious ERROR message I received in the old DOS white text on black background from the old-n-days.
